Mannequink — 3D tattoo try-on & visualization app
Last updated: 3 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Mannequink app ("the App", "we") handles your information. The App is developed and published by Daniel Pitropovski ("the developer").

The short version: the App has no accounts and no sign-up. The photos you import and the designs you create are processed and stored on your device only — they are never uploaded to us. The only third-party services involved are Google services: advertising (AdMob), purchases (Google Play Billing), and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), each described below.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or any account credentials. The App does not require registration and has no server of its own — nothing you draw or import is transmitted to the developer.

2. Photos and images you import

To place a tattoo design, you can select an image using the Android system photo picker. The App only receives the specific image(s) you choose — it has no access to the rest of your photo library. All image processing (such as optional background removal) happens entirely on your device. Imported images are used only to render your tattoo preview and, if you save a design, are stored in the App's private storage on your device.

3. Data stored on your device

Uninstalling the App deletes the saved designs and settings. Exported images in your gallery are not deleted automatically — you can remove them yourself at any time.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the App shows banner advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, coarse (approximate) location, device and app information, and ad interaction data. Depending on your consent choices and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

For details on how Google uses this data, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device's Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads). You can also remove all advertising from the App permanently by purchasing the one-time "Remove ads" upgrade.

5. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The App offers a single one-time in-app purchase ("Remove ads"). Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details — the App only learns whether the purchase is active so it can hide advertisements. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google Play processes payment information.

6. Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

To find and fix bugs, the App may use Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service that collects crash reports when the App malfunctions. A crash report can include technical information such as the device model, operating system version, the App's version, and a stack trace of the crash. This data is used solely to diagnose and fix problems, and is not used to identify you. See the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation for details.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share any data with third parties other than the Google services described above (AdMob, Google Play Billing, Firebase Crashlytics), which process data as our service providers under their own privacy policies.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Security

Your designs and imported images never leave your device, which is the strongest protection we can offer. Data handled by Google services (ads, billing, crash reports) is transmitted using industry-standard encryption.

10. Your rights

Because the developer does not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no developer-held personal data to access, correct, or delete — all App data lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App. For data processed by Google (such as advertising data), you can exercise your rights through your Google account and your device's ad settings. If you are in the European Economic Area, you additionally have the rights granted by the GDPR; contact us with any request or question and we will help.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact
